The meaning of photography

Say Queso (5 of 12)

I took a break from taking pictures for a little bit, because I just didn’t have time to do what I love at all. I started feeling overworked, tired and just without any energy. About 2 weeks ago, I picked up the camera again and I realized how much I missed doing this and how happy it makes me. For the last couple of days, I tried taking my camera with me again when I go to places and I decided to just use this as some kind of stress reliever.  Continue reading

Thoughts on National Parks & the ultimate feeling of freedom

DSC_4467-2kopie

Before I came down to the US, 10 months ago, I thought that National Parks were a combination of Disneyland and the zoo. I didn’t really know what they really were. I thought it was just one of those touristy things, that people want to see when they are in a certain area. When you’re driving around in the Joshua Tree park all you see around you are trees, cacti and rocks. A lot of rocks. When arriving there all I could think about was that I really wanted to climb on those rocks and get views that were even more amazing than the views we had from the ground. My friend Coline and I decided to climb all the way up and the view didn’t disappoint at all. Even though it’s pretty dangerous to climb there and even though there is so much risk to fall or to hurt yourself, we did pretty well and the views were amazing. I got some scratches on my hands and knees during the climb, but I had my adventurous moment and I felt free on there, FREE! 😉

I saw amazing things as I was standing there and I was thinking how happy I am to be living in California and to be able to travel around with amazing people. I’m living the life guys and I couldn’t have been happier! Continue reading

This message is for everyone who needs a change. This change might be a tiny little change but it might be the biggest change of your life. Continue reading

Sunsets & Friends

DSC_0733

I’ve said it many times already, but this place is heaven on earth. California has the most gorgeous sunsets and driving off to the beach to watch the sunset after a busy day is just one of those things that give your day a perfect ending. For some of you, it might not always be possible to go to the beach, but if you have the chance to go and it’s not too far away, I highly recommend you to just stop making excuses and to just go for it!  Continue reading
