Citytripping in sunny Malaga

DSC_3016

The second city I visited in Andalucía was Malaga. Because I didn’t want to spend too much to go from Sevilla to Malaga I decided to try a new way of traveling from one city to another. I chose to go by car through BlaBlaCar. I contacted Adrían after I saw that he was going where I wanted to go and for just 10 euros I travelled to Sevilla.

It’s definitely a way of traveling that I like, because you get to know locals and you get to talk with them which is really interesting. We didn’t have any dead moment during the trip and he even dropped me of in front of the house where I was meeting my friend! That’s a luxury way of traveling isn’t it? Otherwhise I would have had to figure out how to take the bus to the meeting point or I would even have to pay an expensive taxi!

When I arrived in Malaga, my friend Pedro introduced me to a Korean friend of his who was also staying in his house. After that he gave me a tour through the city. I really like to travel with locals because they know places in the city that random tourists wouldn’t see.

We walked by the beautiful harbor of the city, we climbed a hill to get to a viewpoint from where you have an amazing view over the city, we also saw the beach and walked by some other important places and monuments. Continue reading

#OOTD: Summer outfit in Parque Jesuitas

I’ve found a photobuddy in Salamanca! I’m teaching her how to take nice pictures with my camera and until now she likes my classes! 😉

On Sunday we went taking some pictures in a park in Salamanca, named Parque Jesuitas! It was so hot so it was really crowded! Parents were rollerskating with their kids, the youngster were playing basketball, girls were sunbating, young families were picknicking, some other guys were making a music video… Everyone had something to do there!

My friend and I became models for the afternoon, so it was really fun!

Horseback riding shooting

Yesterday I went to a town near Salamanca to take pictures of my friend Katy while she was horseback riding! It was a really sunny day and I actually really enjoyed being outside for the morning while listening to the sound of the birds and the horses!

I took about 200 pictures but this is my top 10! My favourite one is the fifth one, because you really see Katy and her horse in action! What’s your favourite one? 😉

Creepy old house

Good afternoon ladies and gentleman,

Today’s post is about something strange and creepy…

Since I’ve been living in Salamanca I haven’t seen any unattached house, except for one. And you guess right, it’s the one on the picture. It’s located close to where I’m living and it creeps me out. I’ve always known that there was something about that house that wasn’t right, but I still haven’t figured out what it is.

Since the moment I arrived 2 months ago, until last week, the house was just abandoned but I couldn’t see much of it, because there were lots of trees and weeds in front of it which covered the view of the house. Last week something happened… They started pulling out all the trees, they cleaned the trash and they made the house visible again. There were lots of policeman which made it seem mysterious to me…

As I said already, I have no clue what happened to this house or to the people who used to live in it, but it just seems like they suddenly left the house and left everything else behind. In a thriller there would definitely be sitting a ghost on the unstable chair that you can see on the balcony.

It surprises me that I couldn’t find one of those creepy dolls around the house. The kind of dolls with glass eyes that are always used in the best thrillers. Every time I’m watching a thriller and that kind of dolls appear I’m saying to myself: “Oh Gosh, those dolls are there again”, and in the next scene I just know there will be a flashback of a kid who’s dying…

I’m wondering what story is behind that house in Paseo de la Estación in Salamanca…

If anyone knows more, please tell me!

xoxo

Hi guys,

I decided that it was time for another outfit post!

While visiting Madrid I was looking for nice spots to take some fashion pictures with my friend. The gardens of the Royal Palace were the perfect spot for these pictures I wanted to take. The light was nice and the palace in the background made the pictures even more special!

Have you seen my camera necklace by the way? I love it! It’s so me 😉

Food of the day

Today I ate the famous Spanish paella and it was delicious!

For breakfast I had a freshly squeezed orange juice with some croissants, superyummie! Serafien took a hot chocolate, but since it was just like chocolate sauce she didn’t like it that much.. 😉

It’s almost time for me to go back to Salamanca, so I’ll soon post some more pictures we took here.. 🙂

Have a nice Saturday folks!

xoxo
