Pink smoothie

Hi everyone,

Today’s post is all about health. I’ve listed several new years resolutions for myself and among them there are those typical resolutions about being healthier. I always put those in there, and even though I think I was pretty healthy this year, I’m going to do even better next year.

I figured it didn’t make sense to wait till 2014 to eat/drink more vitamins, so I decided to make my first smoothie today already. I made this recipe up, and I hope there will be many other recipes to follow in the next couple of months.

Ingredients:

– Pineapple (piece of +/- 1,5 cm)
– 1 cutie (clementine)
– Cucumber (piece of +/-  8 cm)
– 1 banana
– 4 strawberries
– 8 raspberries
– 1 cup of water

Enjoy the different tastes of this healthy drink and feel free to add some more water or any other fruit or vegetable that you like! Also let me know what your favorite smoothie recipe is or if you know know a good website where you can find amazing smoothie recipes!

    I had one today… Bananacaco. Banana, avocado, kale, agave, a squeeze of lemon juice, and sunflower milk. So good.

    That top photo is STELLAR, Julie ~ I could see it drawing in customers at a Smoothie Bar! And your recipe sounds great ~ of course, I’m partial to fruit. :mrgreen:
